Selection Post Matriculation Level Syllabus:

Quantitative Aptitude

 Arithmetic, number system, computation of whole number, decimal and fractions.

 

Relationship between numbers Fundamental arithmetical operations: percentages, ratio and proportion, square roots, averages, interest (Simple and Compound), profit-loss, discount, partnership business, mixture and allegation, time and distance, time and work.

 

Algebra: Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra and Elementary surds (simple problems) and Graphs of Linear Equations.

 

Geometry: Triangle and its different kinds of centres, Congruence and similarity of triangles, Circle and its chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle, common tangents of two or more circles.

 

Mensuration: triangle, quadrilaterals, regular polygons, circle, right prism, right circular cone, right circular, cylinder, sphere, hemisphere, rectangular paralleled, regular right pyramid with triangular or square base.

 

Trigonometry: trigonometric ratios, complementary angles, height and distances (simple problem only), standard identities etc.

RHQ Selection Post Exam Pattern 2019

The applicants need to note that the Staff Selection Commission is now done with the selection post application and notification procedure. Now the commission will soon commence the exam for candidates. Hence, the most noteworthy thing is to make the candidates introduces with the Selection Post Online Exam Syllabus and Exam Pattern. Hence, for the ease of candidates, here is a format of the selection post exam pattern given as follows. The exam will be Conducted in 2 phases according to the Selection Post Exam Pattern:-

A. Tier 1 CBT (Computer Based Test):

It’s a 1 hour written exam conducted on computer and consists of objective type multiple choice questions. There will be total 100 questions of 2 marks each on English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and General Intelligence.

B. Tier 2 Document Verification:

After Qualifying CBT you will be called for documentation verification in ration with vacancies for the posts of any category.

Important Points for Applicants
  • Keep yourself updated with the exam schedule through notifications.
  • Make photocopies of all the important documents and keep at least one original ID with you such as aadhar card or driving license.
  • Don’t just study for the exam, first make a proper time table and then distribute your time among the topics you are planning study.
  • It is of no use to study difficult topics only. Identify you weak point and then make a strategy to solve them. You must go through every topic at least once.
