SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria –

  1. Nationality –                                                                                                                                                            First of all, a candidate must be a citizen of India. However, he/she can be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan. Also, the candidate can be a Tibetan refugee who came over to India on or before 01/01/1962.
  2. Age Limit –                                                                                                                                                                The minimum age of the applicant must be 18 years. In case of, upper age limit, it cannot be more than 30 years. However, there are also relaxations provided in the upper age limit as per the reservation policy of the government to the candidates of reserved categories.
  3. Educational Qualification –                                                                                                                                    The aspirant of SSC CGLE 2018 must have a graduation degree from a recognised university in the country. SSC CGL Tier 4 Exam Pattern

The tier 4 exam for the SSC CGLE 2018 is going to be a skill test. In this test, a candidate will have to pass through a Data Entry Skill Test [DEST]. The DEST will be qualifying in its nature. The selection of eligible candidates will be done on the basis of the result of the SSC CGL Tier 4 Result.

SSC CGL Group B Pay Scale –

A candidate selected for any of the posts through the SSC CGLE Group B will be entitled to get remunerations as per the policy of the Staff Selection Commission. According to the SSC CGL Notification 2018, the Group B Pay Scale is Rs. 9300-34800/- with a grade pay of Rs. 4800/-.

SSC CGL Group C Pay Scale –

A candidate selected for any of the posts through the SSC CGLE Group C will be entitled to get remunerations as per the policy of the Staff Selection Commission. According to the SSC CGL Notification 2018, the Group C Pay Scale is Rs. 5200-20200/- with a grade pay of Rs. 2800/-.

SSC CGL Apply Online

  1. First of all, a candidate will have to visit the official online application website of the Staff Selection Commission.
  2. Later on, you have to click on the CGLE application link.
  3. Then, on opening of the same webpage you have to click fill all your required details in those given fields.
  4. Now scan a passport sized photo, your signature and necessary documents and attach with the filled SSC CGL Application form.
  5. The next step is towards the payment of the application fee. All the candidates will have to pay Rs. 100/-.
  6. Then click on the submit button.
  7. Finally, take a print out of the filled application form for your future uses.
